So it's not that I was trying to load the mods via their workshop ID, it's that my mod folders are named 12345 instead of Get it?The server loads fine and is running all of the mods. So for instance, my directory is named 463939057. They are downloaded to the arma 3 server directory. Actually they are the workshop id as well.Basically, I'm using steamcmd to get the mods from the workshop onto the server. No, those numbers in the mod string are the folder names, not the workshop id. Good News: Solution incoming (95%)Ok, the Modstring is wrong, what cause the problem for you.The modstring don't contain the workshop IDs, it has to contain the folder names of the mods inside your arma 3 server root directory.If you use for example CBA A3:Download the mod on your server, put the mod inside your server root in a folder (name you can choose, but it's common to use put it in and also reference to that mod inside the modstring with the folder should be directly the mod.cpp etc. I can't find any mention of this stuff anywhere. 'The dedicated server looks at the mods.cpp inside of each mod, gets the steam file id and pushed that to steam query port over udp 1234'. Is there a weird port that the server pings steam on?It would be super helpful if the docs or someone who coded this gave us just a basic understanding of how this works. The firewall is disabled, but I can check the network settings to triple confirm. Also yes, I'm seeing all kinds of UDP ports around 2302 open and the server console doesn't have any of those 'can't connect to steam query yada yada' lines in it. So what does 'Server can't transmit all data list of required mods might be incomplete' mean?Any suggestions would be appreciated. But when they go to join the server, I can't get any mods to show up in the 'Required Addons' section. I've read and tinkered with settings for days and there don't seem to be any clear docs on this.The basic problem is: I'm trying to allow my group to join the server via the vanilla launcher. Nothing is required, you will be whitelisted, you just need to wait until moderators there put you to whitelist.after that you can log in into BP launcher and play. Link your mod you downloaded in workshop in BP launcher (just click link files button)thats allnote that you need to wait about 24h after you make BP account, to get whitelisted.

To use the Arma 3 server browser to get in a Breaking Point server,you have to enable the mod first in Arma 3.configuration/expansion/ check Breaking Point/then restart.The Breaking Point launcher will just bypass the need to do this.If you wist to join another non BP server once you have enables the mod in Arma 3,you will have to disable it,or you will get red circle next to ever server or get kicked if you attempt to join the server.Use the Breaking Point launcher for BP.simplesTook the words right out my mouth.
